To help traceurs (parkour enthusiasts) all over the world find training spots and inspiration. Through our mobile expertise, we were able to combine users from all over the world and create 1 crowd sourced parkour training map.
By interviewing over a 25 gym owners and community leaders, the features for our MVP became very clear. We beta tested with over 100 users from all around the world. Their feedback and date they entered helped our app start off strong.
From our research we learned the need of several features. Creating spots was by far the most important, sharing them to their networks came in a close second. Highlighting gyms that offer parkour related classes to help promote the sport and its businesses was one way we look to further benefit the community.
For this project it was crucial that we design and engineer features that were needed and intuitive to our audience around the globe. Gathering feedback and creating something flexible enough to work everywhere was our main goal.
Through our global beta users and our social media marketing strategy we have seen great usage even within the first month. Our plan is to continue to help this community grow and add features that they vote on within the app.
